The Bridge Church is committed to serving the needs of soldiers and their families. In fact, we have a group of members who cater to our servicemen and women by sending care packages, words of inspiration and more.
We are even involved in assisting soldiers who are moving to Fort Benning, a local army base, as a result of BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) from Fort Knox, Kentucky. In April 2010, we sent a group of members to Fort Knox to meet some of the soldiers who are relocating to Fort Benning in an effort to see how we might be able to make their transition easier.
Through Bridge to Benning our goal is to be a resource to military families living in, or planning to move to, the Fort Benning area.
