Your Due Season is Coming!

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

If you remain faithful to His word, God promises you will reap in due season. That’s not a possibility; it’s a guarantee. If your harvest has not shown up yet, it does not mean it will never happen. It simply means you are not in due season.

Due season refers to an appointed time. It’s not an appointed time based on your timetable. However, the appointed time God refers to is based on His divine calendar.

If you are tempted to question God’s timing, remember that He uses time to mature you and prepare you for the next level. He wants you to have the very best. He is not withholding anything from you to be mean. He’s simply putting your life and character in order so that when the harvest comes, you will be prepared to receive it. Have confidence. Your due season is coming!

CONFESSION OF THE WEEK

Even when life gets difficult, I will not grow weary in well doing. I will remain steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. I allow God to prepare me for the harvest to come and I thank Him for it now.

Winning the Warfare of the Mind

Copy of Copy of Cross Talks-2.png

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every though to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

Your soul is comprised of your mind, will, and emotions. Of these three areas, Satan often attacks in the realm of the mind, causing worry, anger, fear or even depression. It’s the enemy’s job to keep you from making forward progress in life by manipulating you into believing a lie, similar to how he manipulated Adam in the Garden.

You can defeat the enemy and win the warfare of the mind by better managing your thought-life. Properly filter everything that comes your way - even what you read and watch on television - because your thoughts are developed by the information you receive.

You have a blood-bought right to possess the mind of Christ. When you make the decision to allow God to transform your mind in this direction, you will emerge victorious in every area of life.

CONFESSION OF THE WEEK

Father, I thank you that my mind is transformed by your Word. Anger, fear, worry, and depression have no place in me. I take captive every thought into obedience of Christ. And as I do so, I emerge victorious.

What do you believe?

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 NKJV

Is your belief built on the word of God or on something else altogether? In these times of trouble and despair, it is important for us to know what we believe. We must build up our belief and develop the type of confidence that will help us overcome every hardship we encounter.

The word tells us in Psalm 34:19 that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers us from them all. You and I are limited in our own imperfect abilities but there is nothing too hard for God. In His infinite wisdom, God can actually use our obstacles to transport us to new levels of success.

Do not allow the pressures of life to keep you from trusting in God. Satan always comes to challenge the areas in our lives that have the potential to make substantial impacts. Be determined to put your trust in God. It’s not time to quit. It’s time to believe.

CONFESSION

God, you sent your word forth into my heart and I let it dwell in me richly in all wisdom. I set my affections on you and trust and believe in your word. I do not fear. I choose to believe you and I will come out as pure gold!

Succeed Against All Odds

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

“When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes…”

Joseph succeeded even in adverse circumstances. In fact, everything that showed up in his life - the good and the bad - was used to propel him to higher levels of success. As a believer, you also have the ability to experience great success even if the odds appear to be stacked against you.

No matter how bad things look in the natural, when you allow God to saturate your life with His presence, success is inevitable. In John 3:2, Nicodemus said this about Jesus: “No man can do these miracles except God be with him.” Like Jesus you have to operate under the direction and authority of God to succeed.

God has anointed you to do great things for such a time as this. When everything appears to be failing around you, keep the faith and watch God use the good and bad in your life to take you to new levels of success.

CONFESSION

Lord, saturate my life with your presence. I submit to your direction and authority. And as I do so, I know you will show yourself strong in my life.
